Celebrity Masterchef: Tejasswi Prakash gets emotional as she recalls mother’s struggle, says, ‘She would go and sell policies door to door’

Tejasswi’s mother also added, “There was no money at that time, so what could I do? She has always been very supportive and would assure me that something would happen. I have even sold onions when needed.” Tejasswi continued, “Once I told my mother that I wanted a car, so she mortgaged her bangles.” Her mom added, “I sold small things, and made sure she got the car. It was a second-hand car.” Tejasswi Prakash added, “I came home and saw her hands, and asked her where were the bangles. It sounds filmy, but she did that, and I was like we will go and get them back right now. That car saw everything.”

Tejasswi shared, “I was getting paid Rs 5000 for two days for walking in a fashion show and I gave that money to her.” Later, Tejasswi’s mother revealed how the actor will take care of her younger brother when she was out selling policies. She called her daughter a winner and shared how she was proud of her.
