Bigg Boss is currently in its 17th season on television and while the show has a dedicated fan base but even after so many years, fans can't comprehend that the voice artists involved in the show don't decide who stays in the house. Vijay Vikram Singh, who is the narrator of the show and interacts with the audience, recently spoke to Bollywood Bubble and shared that in the last two years, he has faced many threats for him and his family after a popular contestant gets evicted. Vijay said that he is the second voice on the show, and not the one who interacts with the housemates. "I have to tell people that there are two voices on Bigg Boss, they don't believe me. I am the voice who interacts with the audience," he said and clarified that his voice is the one that announces the time, and narrates the events to the television audience. "The voice that interacts with the contestants is a different voice. I keep telling people that I am the narrator's voice on the show," he said. Vijay said that he has faced a lot of trolls on social media in the last two years after a popular contestant gets eliminated. "In the last two years, I have gotten abused so many times online for eliminating people. I keep telling them that I am not the one who eliminates, it's the people's votes. Secondly, I am not that voice," he said and added that his family has also gotten threats. He shared, "People have dragged my family and they start threatening them." Vijay said that he is not Bigg Boss but only the second voice and while he did not reveal who voices the character of Bigg Boss and kept insisting that he doesn't know if it is a person or a machine, but he added that even if it was a person, they are also just doing their job.
