The matter escalated on Monday when the makers flashed a photo of Chaahat sitting with a cake sent by her alleged boyfriend. Chaahat’s mother continued to claim that her daughter was single and said that she would pay Rs 21 lakh to anyone who exposed details of her daughter’s secret boyfriend.

Now, in a new video, Chaahat Pandey can be seen talking to Kashish Kapoor about her alleged boyfriend. This is not the first time a contestant’s personal life has been discussed on television. Last season, Munawar Faruqui’s love life was dragged on the show to a great extent.

On Monday, in an exclusive conversation with SCREEN, evicted contestant Kashish Kapoor also criticised the makers for dragging Chaahat Pandey’s personal life on the show. She said, “Chaahat’s secret relationship is nobody’s concern, it happened outside the show and doesn’t involve any member of the show. I don’t think it was justified, not something I expected would happen on Bigg Boss.”

Bigg Boss 18’s grand finale is scheduled to happen on January 19.
