Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 17 on Sunday. Since then, he has been witnessing a swooning sea of fans reaching out to meet him. Just a day after being declared the winner, the standup comedian went to Dongri with his trophy and was greeted by thousands of fans. On Tuesday, he went out to party with former Bigg Boss contestant Abdu Rozik in Mumbai and got mobbed by fans, who wished to get a picture clicked with him.

Several videos of him trying to leave from the restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai, went viral on social media. The videos showed Munawar getting pushed by people around him and his team trying hard to control the crowd. However, at one point, the comedian gets pushed so hard that he falls.

Amid the chaos, Munawar also got upset with a fan who carried a kid into the mob only to get a photo with him.

Munawar’s victory on Bigg Boss 17 was celebrated in a big way by a large section of fans, but there were some claims of it being fixed too. His good friend Mannara Chopra also commented on the same, saying that she isn’t sure if it was fixed or not. She also reacted to Munawar’s claims that she made him uncomfortable on the show by kissing him.

Reacting to this, Mannara told E-Times, “Oh my god! It’s a weird statement. There’s no footage like this. I don’t know in what context he said that, but if he has, he needs to apologise to me publically.”

Bigg Boss 17 was quite challenging for Munawar as his personal life was dragged on the show to a great extent, bringing him the ‘woman cheater’ tag. In an interview with Indianexpress.com, the Bigg Boss 17 winner shared how he planned to deal with this.

He said, “I was not okay with my personal life being dragged on the show to this extent. But things were not in my control. It was a situation I did not want to face, but I had no option. I am not proud of anything I did, but I have to move on and make things better now. All these tags bother me a lot, but if you have done something wrong, then you will get its punishment too. ”
