Ankita Lokhande says she waited for Sushant Singh Rajput for over two years after break-up, ultimately ‘tore his photos’ to get over the heartbreak

Ankita Lokhande said that her mother removed all the photos and tore them up. The actor added that she cried a lot that day. “I told my mother that until he is there, no one else will be able to come in. I didn’t remove the photos, I just told my mother. I just went inside my room, my mother removed the photos, tore them up. I cried that day. That was the end of everything. I waited, I did everything and after 6 months, Vicky came into my life,” she said. Ankita and Vicky Jain got married in December 2021.

During a recent episode of Bigg Boss 17, Ankita said that her relationship with Sushant ended “overnight”. “He went away from my life suddenly one day. He was getting success so people were trying to manipulate him,” she shared with co-contestant Munawar Faruqui. The actor also mentioned during the episode that Sushant never gave any explanation for their break-up.

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away in June 2020 at his residence in Mumbai.
