TV Actress Anita Hassanandani has shot down pregnancy rumours in a tongue-in-cheek Instagram post, writing she owes her apparent weight gain to lots of chocolates and pizzas.

The 35-year-old “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein” star said the “glow” on her face is not because she is going to be a mother but because she loves her husband.

“So, I’ve received a call from every publication, from every channel today asking me ke “good news hai kya”… Yessss the good news is that I’m not on a diet…

“I’m on pizzaaaaa chocolatessss ice creamssss winessss. Am glowing cos I’m in love with my husbandddddddd. And I promise to let you all know proudly when I am expecting! Cheers (sic),” Anita wrote.

The actress has been married to businessman Rohit Reddy for almost two years now.

While Anita shot down the rumours in a fun way, Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston had recently slammed the media for constantly speculating about her pregnancy, in a more stern way.

“For the record, I am not pregnant. What I am is fed up. I’m fed up with the sport-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily under the guise of ‘journalism,’ the ‘First Amendment’ and ‘celebrity news’,” the former “Friends” star had written, taking tabloids to the task.
