Actor Amar Upadhyay was very involved in the show Kyunki…Tum Hi Ho, not just because he was starring in it, but also because he was one of its producers. However, he exited the show three weeks back, much to the dismay of his fans. The actor has now revealed that he had differences with his production partner, and they couldn’t work through the issues.

In an interview with Times of India, Amar said that he quit the production house three weeks ago due to creative differences. The actor also said that he continued being part of project even though things were not working in his favour. The actor said that it was in the best interest for himself and his business partner to part ways.

The actor shared that from day one, he was involved in every aspect of the show, including casting, and other production aspects. While the actor was earlier skeptical about playing the lead role, it was the channel’s executives who encouraged him to take on the role. However, the actor is not completely closed off to the idea of returning to the show. He said that if the channel feels it is vital for him to play the lead, he would do it to honour the faith that the channel has shown in him.

The actor, who is best known for playinga Mihir Virani in the show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, will continue to pursue his production dreams. He revealed that he has revived his wife’s (Hetal Upadhyay) production house and is already in the process of pitching interesting ideas to various platforms.
