Abdu Rozik reacts to reports of FIR against him for ‘playing’ with loaded gun: ‘Some people trying to defame me, sabotage my business’
Bigg Boss 16 fame Abdu Rozik said the allegations against him seem calculated and malicious.

Days after it was reported that an FIR has been registered against Bigg Boss 16 fame Abdu Rozik for “playing with a loaded gun” at the launch of his restaurant in Mumbai, the singer has clarified that the claims are false and has only caused him distress.
According to a report in Bombay Times, Abdu, who gained prominence after featuring in the Salman Khan–hosted reality show, said the allegations against him seem calculated and malicious.
“Some people are trying to defame me and sabotage my business. I love India and everyone here, but I don’t understand why some people are targeting me. The reports made me very sad. I held it for hardly a few seconds and returned it immediately. However, some people clicked pictures of me holding the gun and started circulating them,” he was quoted as saying.
The social media star claimed that no FIR or case was registered against him but the news doing the rounds deeply affected him. Abdu said he feared that the reports would eventually lead to cancellation of his visa.
“I fell sick due to stress. I feared that my visa would be cancelled, and I wouldn’t get to come to India again. So, I went to the police on my own accord. I wanted to inform them that I hadn’t done anything wrong. They were very supportive and understood the situation.”
The report further quoted his lawyer, Ali Kaashif Khan, who said the singer was “innocent” and claimed some people were trying to garner “cheap publicity” by attacking him. “Neither was there any loaded gun nor was it real. Abdu has recorded his statement with the police and is cooperating,” the lawyer was quoted.
