Thalapathy 68: Venkat Prabhu celebrates birthday with Vijay and crew in Thailand, see photo

Archana Kalpathi of AGS Entertainment finds herself in a similar predicament as she was in 2018 when she bankrolled Vijay’s Bigil. Back then, the producer was haunted by a question wherever she went and that is: What’s the update on Thalapathy 63 (later titled Bigil)? Now, as Archana is teaming up with the Tamil star again, the question is back with ‘Thalapathy 68’ replacing ‘Thalapathy 63’. However, this time, Archana beat Vijay fans to it as even before they started hounding her for updates, the producer has shared an update from Thailand.

Archana took to Twitter to share a picture with the film’s director Venkar Prabhu, who celebrated his 48th birthday in Thailand. Looks like the director celebrated his special day with the crew of Thalapathy 68. Sharing the photos, Archana wrote, “Happiest bday to our mad genius @vp_offl. Here is wishing you the best of everything. To many more crazy shoot days and schedules for #Thalapathy68 ( Update: Major Action Block is being shot in Thailand and yesterday was a night shoot so @vp_offl gets a holiday on his bday).”

Based on Archana’s tweet, it is learnt that a long action sequence is being shot in Thailand. The crew had already shot a dance sequence, which was choreographed by Raju Sundaram.

Other than Vijay, Thalapathy 68 stars Mohan, Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Meenakshi Chaudhry, Laila, Sneha, and Jayaram in important roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music for the film, which will be released next year.
