Sivakarthikeyan wraps up first schedule of Kamal Haasan’s production venture in Kashmir, see photos

We earlier reported that Sivakarthikeyan and Kamal Haasan have teamed up for a film, which is tentatively titled SK21. Produced by Kamal’s Raaj Kamal Films International, the movie is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, who is best known for his film Rangoon. Siva and Periasamy have already wrapped up a long schedule of SK21 in Kashmir. The director and Raj Kamal Films International took to social media to share pictures from the shoot.

Sharing the photos, the director wrote, “Until next time, Kashmir. Thank you for nurturing us! These 75 days of the shoot have been surreal! The relentless efforts of the crew, cast and extensive support of KashmirPolice Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan sir our hero Siva Karthikeyan, producers Mahendran sir… have made this possible!”

Other than Sivakarthikeyan, the film also has Sai Pallavi in the lead role. Action director Stefan Richter and editor Kalaivanan R are confirmed to be part of the film. The rest of the cast and crew members are yet to be announced.

Lately, many South Indian films are being filmed in Kashmir. Vijay Deverakonda‘s Kushi and Vijay’s Leo were shot extensively in the scenic state. Now, SK21 has joined the list.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan is basking in the success of his latest release Maaveeran, which is performing well on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video after having a great box office run. Other than SK21, Siva also has a sci-fi thriller Ayaalan in the pipeline. The film has been in the making for a long time now.
