Sarathkumar and wife Radhika to move out of 15,000-square-foot bungalow: ‘It is difficult to lock seven doors of your house every day’
In a recent interview, actor-politician Sarathkumar opened up about the challenges of maintaining the massive property.

Actor-politician Sarathkumar recently revealed why he and his wife Radhika Sarathkumar have decided to move out of their lavish bungalow in ECR, Chennai. In a candid conversation with Cineulagam, the actor opened up about the challenges of maintaining the massive property.
In the interview, Sarathkumar said the couple found it increasingly difficult to manage the 15,000-square-foot property, which had seven doors, making it cumbersome to secure the house every day. The actor explained that maintaining such a large home would require at least 15 servants at all times, which wasn’t practical. Since neither he nor Radhika could manage the upkeep on their own, they decided to relocate to a smaller, more manageable home in Alwarpet, Chennai.
In an old interview with Behindwoods, Sarathkumar opened up about his bungalow, which was constructed 30 years ago. He revealed that he personally designed the house, giving it a unique octagonal shape. The actor-politican included a conference room and a dedicated space for meetings in the property. One of the main highlights of the house, he shared, is a collage wall designed by his son, featuring legendary Tamil cinema icons like MGR and Sivaji Ganesan, alongside international stars such as Roger Moore, Jackie Chan, and Errol Flynn, among others.
Sarathkumar married Radhika in 2001. He has two daughters from his previous marriage and one son with Radhika.
On the work front, Sarathkumar was last seen in the critically acclaimed film 3BHK, co-starring Devayani, Siddarth, and Meetha Reghukumar. This heartwarming drama narrates the story of a family’s deep desire to build a home of their own.
