Revolver Rita teaser: Keerthy Suresh expertly handles guns and groceries in this dark comedy

Going by the teaser, Keerthy Suresh-starrer Revolver Rita hits all the right notes of a quirky dark comedy with interesting action sequences and a motley group of characters to dial up the entertainment factor.

In the past three years, National Award winner Keerthy Suresh has been headlining films that allow her to explore various genres, and showcase her versatility. On the occasion of her birthday, the makers of her next, Revolver Rita, shared a title teaser of the movie, which seems to be a distinct outing for the talented actor. 

The rather quirky teaser features a group of criminals, eyeing innocent people in a market, snatching the handbag of an unassuming Keerthy Suresh, who is there to buy vegetables. They find a revolver, a blood-stained knife, and a grenade inside the handbag. Walking into their hideout with a lot of swagger, Keerthy retrieves all her belongings, and lets the criminals know that she isn’t an undercover cop or a RAW agent or a Don. Who is she then?

Well, we have to wait for the film’s release as Keerthy’s character is asked to return home immediately by her mother, played by Radikaa Sarathkumar, who is waiting for tomatoes.

Written and directed by JK Chandru, Revolver Rita hits all the right notes of a quirky dark comedy with interesting action sequences and a motley group of characters to dial up the entertainment factor. The movie also stars Sunil, Ajay Ghosh, and Redin Kingsley.

Backed by Passion Studios’ Sudhan Sundaram and The Route’s Jagadish Palanisamy, Revolver Rita is set to have music by Sean Roldan, who was part of Keerthy’s recent release, Raghu Thatha.
