Anyone who talks about Rajinikanth, without fail, will mention a few words about his simplicity and modest attitude. On top of the trademark style, his humility has also become characteristic of the superstar. An incident at the funeral of Sarath Babu has yet again made his fans go ga-ga over his down-to-earth attitude and has become a talking point on social media.

A video clip of Rajinikanth from the funeral is making the rounds on social media due to the humane gesture of the superstar. In the clip, Rajinikanth is seen getting out of the car to address the media and his publicist quickly held an umbrella to shield the actor from the sun. When Rajinikanth notices the umbrella, he gestures ‘What is this?’ to his publicist and asks him to remove it.

The umbrella is quickly taken away as Rajinikanth resumes his media interaction. “There is no one who can match his simplicity,” wrote a fan. However, many also wondered why a normal gesture of the actor is being discussed at length and asked Rajini fans to stop making a mountain out of a molehill.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is currently mourning the death of his friend Sarath Babu, who has acted with him in films like Muthu, Annamalai, and Vellaikaran among others. Talking about his beloved friend, Rajini said, “I have never seen him getting serious or angry. You all know that all the films I acted in with him are very big hits — Mullum Malarum, Muthu, Annamalai and Velaikkaran. He had great love and affection for me…he would always regret about me smoking, will ask me to quit it for a long life. If he would see me smoking, he would snatch the cigarette and put it out. So, I won’t smoke before him.”

On the work front, Rajinikanth will next be seen in Jailer, directed Nelson Dilipkumar. He is also part of his daughter’s upcoming films Laal Salaam.
