Nayanthara, Madhavan and Siddharth team up for producer Sashikanth’s debut directorial venture Test

As speculated earlier, Nayanthara, Madhavan, and Siddharth are teaming up for a film, which will be directed by producer Sashikanth, who has bankrolled movies like Vikram Vedha, Saala Khadoos, Game Over, and Jagame Thandhiram. The upcoming film is titled Test, and the motion poster reveals that the movie has to do with the popular game of cricket.

Test marks the second collaboration of Madhavan and Siddharth, who worked together in Mani Ratnam’s Aayutha Ezhuthu. It is said that Madhavan and Nayanthara are pairing up for the film, and Siddharth will be playing another lead role. The shoot of Test is already underway.

Sashikanth and Y Not Studios are yet to reveal other details about the film.

Meanwhile, Nayanthara has Iraivan and Jawan in the pipeline. Recently, she also started shooting for another film, which is tentatively titled Lady Superstar 75. Directed by Nilesh Krishnaa, an erstwhile assistant of Shankar, the film has Sathyaraj, Achyuth Kumar, KS Ravikumar, Sachu, Redin Kingsley, and Karthik Kumar in pivotal roles.

Madhavan, on the other hand, is in the process of making a biopic of ace inventor GD Naidu.

Actor Siddharth, who has been missing from action since 2021, will be returning to the screen in Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2.
