Leo is finally on the last leg of its triumphant theatrical run. The Vijay starrer action thriller on its fourth Saturday managed to put up Rs 90 lakhs as per industry tracker Sacnilk.

The collection of the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial in India now stands at Rs 336 crore, including all languages. The film’s collection comes amid new big releases, Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda DoubleX and Karthi-starrer Japan, which has naturally led to a drastically reduced show count.

When it was released, it felt like Leo could chase down this year’s biggest Tamil hit Jailer, but the possibility of that now looks difficult. The Rajinikanth starrer had netted Rs 348 crore all India after its more than 40-day run at the box office.

While Leo has come close to Jailer’s collection in 24 days itself, the film might not able to cross the landmark as of now. At the global box office, Rajinikanth’s Jailer had amassed Rs 604 crore while Leo currently stands over Rs 597 crore. The worldwide record of Jailer is something that Leo would hope to get its under name.

The Vijay starrer is already the third highest Tamil grosser of all time after Rajinikanth’s 2.0 and Jailer. Leo marked the first collaboration between Tamil star Vijay and acclaimed director Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Leo boasts an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Sandy, and Gautham Menon. Leo was released in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
