AR Rahman's Marakkuma Nenjam concert continues to dominate social media discourse as many who attended the event continue to express their grievances. There have many accusations against Rahman including posts that called him a scamster. Amidst all such claims, music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has come forward in support of the Academy Award winner. Yuvan took to Twitter to share a long post, which defended Rahman and slammed the organiser for the shortcomings. A part of the post read, "As a fellow musician, I empathize and stand with AR Rahman, considering the unfortunate events, especially when the event was intended to give fans a memorable night. He wrote, "We have known and loved Rahman sir for more than 3 decades now. What happened during the concert was unfortunate. However, knowing sir he would be immensely affected by it. My family too was at the concert amid the chaos but I stayed with #ARRahman sir and I hope the event organizers take responsibility. I request all the fans to choose love over hate as Rahman sir always gave his love to all. #LoveAboveHate (sic)." Actress Khushbu Sundar and her family had also attended the concert. On Monday, AR Rahman took the responsibility for the mishaps that happened at the concert and he has asked fans to get in touch with the organiser remedies.
