The rather reclusive Ajith Kumar has been showcasing quite a presence on social media recently. While his fans and Tamil cinema audience went years together without seeing a photo or video of him, it has not been the case in recent times. With his looks from his upcoming film, Good Bad Ugly, taking the internet by storm, he is also making quite an impact with developments on the racing front. Now, a recent picture of him being part of the Diwali festivities at the Dubai residence of actor Madhavan and his wife Sarita has gone viral.

Incidentally, Ajith is currently in Dubai ahead of the car race in January, which he will be participating under the Ajith Kumar Racing team. Fans were jubilant about this unexpected photo featuring two of the most-loved actors of Tamil cinema, and were expressing their wish to see them together on the big screen.

Incidentally, Madhavan made his big screen debut with Mani Ratnam’s Alaipayuthey, which had Ajith’s wife and actor Shalini in the lead role. The film, which was released in 2000, continues to be celebrated as one of the evergreen romantic films of Tamil cinema. Just last week, Shalini shared a selfie of herself with Madhavan with the caption, “Endrendrum Punnagai.” This was the introduction song of Madhavan in Alaipayuthey, and this heartwarming photo became the talk of the town with many urging Shalini to return to acting with the sequel to the Mani Ratnam film.
