Ayalaan trailer: Sivakarthikeyan promises a thrilling ride with his extraterrestrial friend

Apart from Sivakarthikeyan, the sci-fi drama Ayalaan also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Isha Koppikar, Sharad Kelkar, Yogi Babu and Karunakaran in pivotal roles.

Ayalaan will hit the theatres on Pongal 2024.

The trailer of Sivakarthikeyan-led fantasy entertainer Ayalaan was released on Friday. Written and directed by R Ravikumar, the film is about the arrival of an extraterrestrial being on Earth and Sivakarthikeyan saving it from scientists. Sounds familiar? Hrithik Roshan did something similar in Koi Mil Gaya when he saved Jaadu.

The trailer opens with scientists undertaking experiments that could lead to an apocalypse. They also discover the eggs of dinosaur-like creatures. In the next moment, a huge spaceship lands on Earth, and an alien walks out of it, who apparently has “extraordinary powers”. While the scientists try techniques to fight the alien, Sivakarthikeyan and his folks befriend it and keep it at their home.

While the first half of the trailer is all intense, the second half gives a glimpse into the fun the alien has during his time with humans, learning their ways. The official logline of the film reads, “Ayalaan is a science-fiction movie that promises to take you on a thrilling ride to space.”

Ayalaan is produced by RD Raja of 24AM Studios and is released by KJR Studios Kotapadi J Rajesh. It has music by AR Rahman. Apart from Sivakarthikeyan, the sci-fi drama also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Isha Koppikar, Sharad Kelkar, Yogi Babu and Karunakaran in pivotal roles.

The film will be released in five languages – Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam on the festival of Pongal next year.
