Aishwarya, daughter of Arjun Sarja, and Umapathy, son of Thambi Ramaiah, met and fell in love during their time on the reality show Survivor-Tamil, hosted by Arjun himself. Umapathy was one of the contestants, and their connection blossomed into a romance that culminated in their engagement in October 2023.

Reports suggest that the Sarja and Ramaiah families are planning a reception to celebrate with friends and extended family soon, although an official announcement has yet to be made.
