Ajith, Trisha turn back time in the last leg of Vidaamuyarchi’s shooting

There is no doubt that actor Ajith Kumar loves to travel. In fact, even before he relaunched his racing career after a significant break, Ajith had started a biking tour company that promoted travelling across the globe. After an extended stay in Europe to concentrate on his racing career, Ajith recently returned to India to complete filming his portions for Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly. Incidentally, just last week, Ajith completed dubbing for his portions in his Pongal release, Vidaamuyarchi. Now, he is back on the road to film the last leg of the Magizh Thirumeni film in Bangkok. 

Photos from the shoot were released online today, and it has already become quite the rage. It features Ajith looking dapper in a black suit and an ethereal Trisha in a grey saree. Vidaamuyarchi marks the reunion of Ajith and Trisha, who have starred together in films like Ji, Kireedam, Mankatha, and Yennai Arinthaal. We can also see director Magizh and cinematographer Om Prakash in the new stills.

The latest photos feature Ajith in his new avatar, which netizens have been hailing as a throwback to his Dheena days. Incidentally, the first time we saw the new look of Ajith were in the BTS photos shared by Adhik.

Backed by Lyca Productions, Vidaamuyarchi is set to hit the screens this Pongal, marking Ajith’s return to Tamil cinema after a break of 2 years. His last release is H VInoth’s Thunivu, which incidentally, was also a Pongal release in 2023. Apart from Ajith and Trisha, the road thriller also stars their Mankatha co-star Arjun, Regina Cassandra, and Arav in pivotal roles.
