Twist in the tale
Whether Raghav aka Ashish Choudhary will marry Kalpana or Pakhi remains a question
Ashish Choudhary
Just as the love between Raghav (Ashish Choudhary) and Kalpana (Rachna Parulkar) had started blooming, here’s a twist in the tale. The new promo of Ek Mutthi Aasman indicate Raghav’s wedding but both Kalpana and Pakhi (Shirina Singh) are dressed as brides. What would be interesting for the viewers is to see who Raghav will marry. Interestingly, these episodes are being collaborated with another show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, for the entire week. A while ago, during an interview with Screen, when Choudhary was asked what he will choose between love and revenge, he’d said, “Revenge is pretty much the crux of the story with my character wanting to take revenge from Pakhi’s father, because of what was done to him. And in fact, I’m totally looking forward to the revenge part of the show. But the love story also plays an important part, which the viewers will like, so that can’t be ignored as well.”
However, the actor too was unaware as to what would happen because on television everything keeps changing, with new twists and turns remaining the sole motive. Guess, we too will have to wait and watch!
Donning a new avatar
Disha Parmar’s character Pankhuri has died in Pyaar Ka Dar Hai, and the actress has returned in the show as a new character after a two-year leap. “I think it’s been two years since the show is on air, and I’m playing Pankhuri. After doing everything possible, there was nothing else left for my character to do. So, it’s just to give the show a fresh start that I’ll be seen as a new character all together,” says Disha Parmar.
Her new character Ayesha is a far cry from the demure vibe that Pankhuri had. “Ayesha is a complete opposite of Pankhuri. While Pankhuri was shy, Ayesha is bubbly, chirpy, happy in life. I just feel great that I get to do two different things in one show,” she adds. The actress, in fact, had no time to prepare for the new character. One day she was Pankhuri, and the next day, she had to get into the new zone. The look of her new character is also completely different. She’ll now be seen wearing long skirts, kurtis among other things. “A nosepin has also been added to the look, and that’s what I like the most,” Disha added.
