Last seen in the Rekha-starrer Super Nani, Sharman Joshi has now been signed for Excel Entertainment’s 3 Stories.
Set in present times, the film tells the story of three chawl residents in Mumbai and explores the subject of urban existence.The film will feature Sharman Joshi, Shefali Shah and Pulkit Samrat and will be directed by ad-film-maker Arjun Mukherjee. Joshi confirmed the news stating, “Yes, it is true I’m doing the film. Can’t wait to begin shooting.”
Ritesh Sidhwani who co-owns Excel Entertainment said, “3 Stories is not a dark, disturbing tale, but a drama with touches of comedy. We are happy to be partnering with a global player. It will help us take the film to a mainstream audience abroad.” Relativity Media, producers of Hollywood films like Bourne Legacy is the global player.
