Saurabh Shukla is in the process of fine tuning the script of the psychological thriller that he is writing and directing for Nikhil Advani’s production house. The cast of the film includes Nimrat Kaur, Rajkummar Rao and the makers are on the lookout for one more actor.
“I am really excited about the project. The interesting point about the film is that it will have only three actors,” disclosed Shukla adding that the movie needs to be shot in snow-laden environment. “We will start shooting the outdoors in December during the winter season, but work on the the indoor sequences will begin earlier.”
In Sudhir Mishra’s Aur Devdas, he plays the main antagonist, a ‘political villain’ as he calls it. Then there’s Nila Madhav Panda’s Kaun Kitne Paani Mein in which he plays a king. “It’s a comedy, the story of a king in modern times who is really poor and his people are more wealthy than he is. He’s also a conman trying to sell off his village,” said Shukla who is also part of Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos in which he plays a RAW agent. The actor-director will soon start work on the sequel of Jolly LLB.
