The Happy New Year team, given the success of the film, is a happy lot. Just recently, at the launch of the music video of the song Sharaabi, the cast (with the  exception of Bachchan Jr who was away for his team’s football match) especially the leading pair Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone and director Farah Khan were in mood for some feel-good PDA for each other. They insisted on planting a generous smack on their co-stars’ cheeks much to everyone’s amusement. Towards the end of the evening, all actors sported lipstick marks (courtesy Farah and Deepika) and yes that happy grin too. But the bonhomie went a step further—Khan, despite the question hour time being up, requested his team to allow more questions and answered each of them, no matter how irrelevant or irreverent, tongue-firmly in cheek. But obviously everyone, especially his ardent fans, went home happily .
