Mallika Sherawat was surmmoned a notice by the Hyderabad High Court over wearing the Indian National flag in the poster of the film Dirty Politics. The poster shows the actress sitting on top of a car with a red beacon light, wearing only the Indian tricolour. While the public interest litigation alleges the poster is an insult to the nation’s honour, city-based rights activist T. Dhangopal Rao who filed the case, says that the actress and the makers have intentionally insulted the national flag in the poster.
