Known for her fabulous acting, Ashwini Kalsekar once again closed one of her popular characters on a high note. The actor, who played Mahamanga on Jodha Akbar bid adieu to the show as her character died. After quite a long stint on the show, the actor said that the entire crew had become like her family. “We would spend hours together on the sets. It was a very emotional moment for me, as I had really become attached to the entire cast, the crew and even the beautiful set in Karjat,” said the actor, who thinks that Mahamanga’s track has come to a natural end. “I am content with the way the character was sketched and has shaped up. I now look forward to some new beginnings,’ she remarked. Interestingly, the other actors too share a close bond with Ashwini. Paridhi Sharma, who plays Jodha says that she idolises Ashwini for not just her exceptional acting abilities, but also the way she conducts herself in person.
