Yash starrer KGF 2 celebrates first anniversary with ‘monster cut’; fans say they are ‘waiting for KGF 3’

Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF Chapter 2 made over Rs 1000 crore gross in India. The film was the biggest hit of the year, ahead of films like RRR, The Kashmir Files, and many others. Soon after the release, Prashanth spoke about making KGF 3 in an interview with Galatta Plus. He said, “There is definitely a possibility of Chapter 3. That also comes out of compulsion. People have loved this world, they’ve loved this character and we are gonna keep it going. We don’t know when, but we are gonna keep it going.” The director added, “Of course, we have an idea. We had an idea for it a long time back actually, but right now we just want to take a big break and we will definitely come back to make that.”

Prashanth is on the verge of wrapping up his next film, Salaar, with Prabhas. He also announced his upcoming film with Jr NTR in 2022, NTR 31. An official announcement about KGF 3 is yet to be made. Earlier, Raveena Tandon, who starred in KGF 2, told IndiaToday.in, “Well, I am keeping my fingers crossed that there will be a KGF 3 and we will be working on it very soon. But KGF 2 was a wonderful experience. I had fun working with these youngsters and, especially Prashanth, as a director, was so focused. He knew exactly what he wanted and what he was doing. So, it was just an amazing experience working with them.”
