UTV Motion Pictures has lined up five Malayalam films for theatrical distribution,including superstar Mohanlal’s most awaited film ‘Koothara’.
The other Malayalam film to be distributed by UTV are ‘Bicycle Thieves’,’Pournami’,’Rasputin’ and ‘Nikkah’.
Srinath Rajendran’s ‘Koothara’ stars Mohanlal,Sunny Wyne,
Bharath,and Meera Jasmine among others.
The movie graphics effects are done by technicians,who have worked for Oscar winning films like ‘Life of Pi’ and ‘Hugo’.
“We are excited to present five Malayalam films which have a great combination of good content and talent to our audiences,” said Gaurav Verma the Indian director of Theatrical Distribution – Studios,Disney UTV.
The movies are going hit theatres in the next four to five months.
“We are delighted to line up a solid slate of films in Malayalam to release in the next four to five months. Each
film has a unique story line and we are confident that they
will be enjoyed by all the movie lovers,” G Dhananjayan,the
chief of South Business – Studios,Disney UTV said.
