RGV targets Mammootty on Twitter, says he is a junior artiste compared to son Dulquer Salmaan

RGV called Mammootty a junior artiste as compared to his son Dulquer.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has courted another controversy and this time it is not about any film or Bollywood actor or filmmakers, but Malayalam superstar and producer Mammootty.

RGV claimed that Mammootty’s acting is less realistic than his son Dulquer Salmaan and he should rather learn that skill from him. Salmaan has been heaping praises for his performance in the recent Tamil hit ‘O Kadhal Kanmani’ which has been directed by Mani Ratnam.

RGV tweeted:

Mammootty, who is one of the strongest pillars of Malayalam cinema has been bestowed with National Film Award for Best Actor three times, Kerala State Film Awards five times and was also awarded the Padma Shri. Mammootty has a big list of hit films to his credit which includes ‘Oru Vadakkan Veeragadha’, ‘Oru CBI Diary Kurippu’, ‘Loudspeaker’, ‘Pazhassi Raja’ and many more. Calling Mammootty a junior astiste compared to his son Dulquer, Ram Gopal Varma further wrote:

Soon after RGV watched Dulquer’s film ‘O Kadhal Kanmani’, he tweeted that if the award committee members had any sense they would take back all awards of Mammootty and give it to his son.

The filmmaker is being trolled on Twitter ever since he made such remarks on Mammootty. He also tweeted:

In a strong reply to what RGV tweeted, Mammootty’s son wrote: “In ten lifetimes I won’t be one millionth the actor my father is, no matter what I accomplish.”

But this also didn’t go down well with RGV and he further wrote:
