Karataka Damanaka trailer: Shivarajkumar and Prabhudheva are all set to tug at your heartstrings

Karataka Damanaka marks Prabhudheva's return to Kannada films after a long gap, and it is also Shivarajkumar's first collaboration with Yogaraj Bhat.

The trailer of Yogaraj Bhat’s upcoming Kannada film Karataka Damanka dropped on Thursday. And while Shivarajkumar and Prabhudheva make for a promising duo, the film’s drama element is what grabs a lot of attention.

The trailer starts with the village of Nandikolur calling out to its inhabitants who left it due to lack of water. While everyone tags the village as a graveyard, with corruption harming the growth of the village further, is when Shivarajkumar and Prabhudeva instill hope in the villagers once again. They encourage people to develop their surroundings once again, only to battle a dilemma whether the village killed humans or vice versa.

Bringing a creative take on man vs nature, the film is surely set to strike an emotional chord with the audience. Karataka Damanaka marks the first collaboration between actor Shivarajkumar and director Yogaraj Bhat. It also marks Prabhudheva’s return to the Kannada film industry after a very long gap.

Produced by Rockline Venkatesh, Karataka Damanaka is slated to release in theatres tomorrow. The film be clashing with another big Kannada release, Ranganayaka, starring Jaggesh in the lead role.

On the work front, Prabhudheva has the Tamil film The Greatest Of All Time in the pipeline. Shivarajkumar, on the other hand, will be seen in the prequel of Mufti titled Bhairathi Ranagal.
