Dog from Rakshit Shetty’s 777 Charlie to enter Sudeep-hosted Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10

Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction, and the latest revelation about Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10 is an example of it. The reality show, which thrives on drama and controversies, has raised the stakes by having a dog as a contestant. You read that right. A dog will be entering the Bigg Boss Kannada house this season, and it is not any dog, but a celebrity one.

Remember Charlie from Rakshit Shetty’s 2022 film 777 Charlie? Well, the fluffy labrador is going to be on the show, hosted by Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep.

Confirming the news, Prashanth Nayak of Colors Kannada channel said, “Yes, Charlie will be one of the contestants in the latest season and we have taken all the necessary permissions from the animal board.”

Charlie’s handler Pramod also confirmed the news in an interaction with South First. Pramod will be stationed outside the premises of the Bigg Boss Kannada house and monitor the well-being of Charlie. The timetable and diet of Charlie has been given to the makers.

777 Charlie ended up winning the Best Kannada Film award at the 69th National Film Awards. However, the dog Charlie was not seen in any film after the hit project. According to Pramod, it was because they wanted Charlie to have her own feature film.

This is not the first time a dog has entered a Bigg Boss house. In the 16th season of Bigg Boss Hindi, a St. Bernard was sent in as a wild card entry on the demand of the housemates.

Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10 will be launched on October 8.
