Singer Kumar Sanu on Tuesday officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Singer Kumar Sanu on Tuesday officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). This is going to be his second stint with the party.
Earlier, the popular playback singer had joined BJP in the year 2004 when it was headed by then party president Venkaiah Naidu. However, he later resigned to concentrate on his singing career.
Sanu was welcomed by the party chief Amit Shah. The singer said he wants to serve the poor and feels that a lot can be done under PM Narendra Modi’s leadership.
