Rapper Macklemore has confirmed that he is expecting his first child with fiancee Tricia Davis by sharing a video of their visit to doctor for sonogram.

The 31-year-old hip-hop star has been with Davis for nine years and the couple got engaged in January 2013, reported Ace Showbiz.

The couple announced the news through a video that shows their visit to doctor. It opened with a message, “Today the media speculated about some big news in our life. So we decided to share it with you ourselves. Love, Ben and Tricia.”

The baby is due in May. Besides expecting a baby, the rapper whose real name is Ben Haggerty is gearing up for a new album in 2015.
