EXO’s Kai has enlisted for his mandatory military service today. Just yesterday, news of the South Korean singer and dancer introducing his buzz cut came out and fans were emotional that he would no longer be around.

The members of the group EXO assembled today to send Kai off for the mandatory military service. Showing off the Rover singer’s military buzz cut, the group posed for a lovely selfie. Band member Chanyeol shared the pictures on his Instagram with the caption, “Don’t get hurt and return safely!”

In the photos, Chanyeol can be seen giving Kai a piggyback ride with others placing their hands on his head.

Kai recently had revealed that he is very upset with the military enlistment news and that he can’t do anything about it. “There’s so much that I had prepared. What a pity. That’s what’s upsetting. There’s nothing that I could do about this. I’m sad that I can’t show you what I prepared but I can just show it after I return,” Kai said.

He added that he will miss his fans a lot. “It’d be nice if I could see your faces before I go. I think I’m going to miss you so much. I’m already missing you right now though. Today is the first day of me finding out about it as well, so please be understanding. I’ll smile from tomorrow onwards.”
