Baaghi 4 Movie Review: Tiger Shroff bleeds, Sanjay Dutt snarls, you flinch
Baaghi 4 Movie Review and Rating: One star to Tiger Shroff film for surprising us every time we think Ronny surely has butchered enough, or when you think Sanjay Dutt can’t be doing his maniacal laugh one more time.

Baaghi 4 Movie Review & Rating: Once upon a time, a baaghi was one who rebelled against the system. Then, the system won. Baaghi 4 is what comes after — a complete contempt for any system. All you know, and need to, is that Ronny i.e. Tiger Shroff will be thrown into many fights, will spill a lot of blood, will break many bones, and will come away standing — and shirtless. There will be a woman Ronny will love, who will fall into peril, and who will be saved.
The twist in this fourth Baaghi is that Alisha (Sandhu) for whom Ronny pines — mostly while perched at a dangerous angle at a height — may be a product of his own imagination. No one, including Ronny’s unfortunate brother Deepu (Talpade), who certainly keeps the two of them in good digs for a mechanic’s earnings, seems to have ever seen this Alisha. Meanwhile, always around is Olivia a.k.a Pratishtha (a wasted Bajwa), the prostitute with a heart of gold that she is losing to Ronny.
One has one’s doubts about Alisha too as she is a stunner, as at home in a carnival as in doctor’s scrubs at a government hospital or while painting stunning portraits. She lives in this grand mansion of a home where her equally well-manicured sister is fostering dozens of children. The fact that the children only appear once or twice must make all that fostering business easier.
The film itself is set in an imaginary place called Chandara, where carnivals are routine, and mountains and beaches a car-ride away. Presumably funerals with men and women wearing metal masks are also a thing. Is it in this world or somewhere adjacent, along an azure ocean, live the self-declared “shaitaan” played by Sanjay Dutt? He keeps tigers as pets in his own grand house with portraits of maharaja-like figures lining walls, wears velvet purple jackets as daily wear, and has a tendency to hover. If Alisha is startled at the sight, more than once, at least that reaction seems genuine.
Sometime in an obscurely defined past, Ronny was in ‘Defence Sea Forces’, as part of which he once catches a small-time druggie using Alisha’s brand-new phone as weapon. As far as meet cute goes, that’s at least original.

One star for surprising us every time we think Ronny surely has butchered enough, Sanjay Dutt surely can’t be doing his maniacal laugh one more time, the film surely has shown all it wanted to till it springs up again, God’s name surely can’t be taken more in vain particularly inside a church, and for having someone declare: “I will marry you Chaakoo.” Chaakoo, it turns out, is Bollywood for Chacko.
Like we said, the system always wins.
