While Kaathal’s daily box office figures may appear lower compared to Mammootty’s last theatrical release, Kannur Squad, which grossed Rs 2.2 crore on Day 1 and Rs 2.5 crore on Day 2, the current numbers are commendable considering the significantly lower budget of Jeo Baby’s film.

Expressing immense happiness over the film’s reception, Jyotika wrote on Instagram: “Some movies are made for the right reasons, with pure intentions and only for the love of cinema. Kaathal – The Core is one such film which was earnestly made from the core of the entire team. Thank you to the most wonderful audience for recognising and respecting this emotion. 🙏”

“Your love for a good film will only make cinema a better place. All my love and respect and a big salute to the real life hero Mammootty sir!!!! 🫡 To the daring and supremely talented Jeo Baby, to the revolutionary writers Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria and the whole team for making me part of this Gem.” “Omana and Matthew will forever live in the core of my heart,” she concluded.
