The trailer of Tinu Pappachan's Chaaver, starring Kunchacko Boban, Antony Varghese, Arjun Ashokan and Sajin Gopu in the lead roles, promises that the movie will be a high-energy, tension-filled actioner that doesn't hold back when it comes to portraying violence.

After a two-year hiatus, director Tinu Pappachan is poised to make a triumphant comeback with the action thriller Chaaver, starring Kunchacko Boban, Antony Varghese, Arjun Ashokan, and Sajin Gopu in the lead roles. Known for his masterful execution of action sequences, which he showcased in his previous directorial ventures Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil and Ajagajantharam, Tinu Pappachan’s Chaaver is said to be set against the backdrop of intense political rivalries that often end in violent confrontations.
The film’s trailer, which the makers released on Friday evening, promises that the movie will be a high-energy, tension-filled actioner that doesn’t hold back when it comes to portraying violence.
The trailer begins with a long shot of a crowded street where scores of people are marching forward, raising slogans. On a nearby wall, the words “23rd Party Congress” are visible. As the promo unfolds, the main characters from Chaaver are introduced one by one, appearing to be in a desperate race to elude an imminent threat. The trailer also briefly presents a few bodies.
However, the video’s tone takes a dramatic turn when Kunchacko Boban’s character assumes a prominent role. He sternly reminds someone over the phone, “You do remember everything you have made us do in the name of the party, right? If you don’t arrange substitutes in the court tomorrow, you will regret it,” implying that they are on the run from the law.
