Malayalam cinema has ended its rough patch and how! The industry, which was struggling to make money at the box office with a series of flops, has finally gotten its big hit, 2018. On top of giving the much-needed respite to theatre owners and distributors, the film has also become an 'all-time industry hit' by earning Rs 137.6 crore from across the world. The box office collection from rest of India so far has amounted to Rs 8.4 crore. The film has collected Rs 63.95 crore from overseas market. Starring Tovino Thomas, Kunchacko Boban, Asif Ali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Lal, Narain, Aparna Balamurali, Sshivada, and Gauthami Nair among others, the film is based on 2018 Kerala floods.
