We Live in Time trailer: Florence Pugh, Andrew Garfield show off their rom-com chops in the John Crowley film

On Wednesday, the makers of Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield starrer We Live In Time released the trailer of the film. In the video, the Academy Award nominees can be seen showing off their rom-com chops. The trailer of the John Crowley directorial was released much ahead of its theatrical release on October 11.

In the trailer, Pugh’s Almut and Garfield’s Tobias can be seen brought together in a surprise encounter that changes their lives. The video shows several snapshots of the couple’s life together–from falling for each other, building a home to becoming a family–until a difficult truth rocks their foundation. As the turn of events makes them take a path challenged by limits of time, they learn to make the most of each moment.

The trailer shows the couple’s relationship grow over ten years, right from when Almut accidentally hits Tobias with her car to when they tell their young daughter how they met.

The news of the stars collaborating for a film spread after they presented the screenplay prizes together at the 2023 Academy Awards. We Live in Time, written by The Crown and The Last Letter From Your Lover fame, Nick Payne, is all set for its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September this year.
