“Fast and Furious” films are known for its use of flashy cars in each of its installments but for its eighth film the franchise is taking a different route by featuring vintage cars.

“Fast and Furious 8” kicked off its production in Cuba last week and Universal Pictures has shared a set video to give an early look at the movie.

In the video, actor Vin Diesel proudly introduces the movie as one of the first films to shoot in the country since the US and Cuba began to repair their diplomatic relations, reported Ace Showbiz.

The video includes behind-the-scenes footage of a car race on the street and shows star Michelle Rodriguez having fun dancing with some local people.

F Gary Gray (“Straight Outta Compton”) is directing the movie.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Jason Statham are also returning, while Charlize Theron and “Game of Thrones” actor Kristofer Hivju are added as new cast members.

The eighth installment in the street-racing movie franchise is set for an April 14, 2017 release.
