Director JJ Abram’s ‘Star Wars – The Force Awakens’, which is one of the most anticipated movies of the year, will end the year on a big note. The film that has released in India today is grand which had many fans eagerly waiting for it.

Starring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher in lead roles, the trailer of the film had already received applauds. The film, which released worldwide on December 18, is already garnering a lot of attention worldwide and the box office collections are its proof. The film has also shattered the records of Jurassic World, which released earlier this year.

Harrison Ford, who plays the role of Han Solo in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise, recently said that he wanted his famous character, Han Solo, in the to “sacrifice himself”. Ford, who reprises his role in the latest installment, wanted Solo to be killed off in “Return of the Jedi”, the sixth episode of the “Star Wars” saga.

“Force Awakens” is the seventh installment in the epic science-fiction franchise created by George Lucas in 1977. Disney plans four “Star Wars” movies through 2019, plus major expansions at its U.S. theme parks to incorporate the droids, spaceships and otherworldly creatures of the universe Lucas invented.

‘The Force Awakens’ is set 30 years after the Battle of Endor at the end of “Return of the Jedi”.
