Star Wars teaser: Four things that changed from the original series
We at The Indian Express hope that the trailer will have more to show than a bunch of X-fighters, Tie-fighters pew-pewing across the cosmos.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens maybe light years away from releasing but the fans of the franchise got a taste of what to expect in the latest installment on November 28.
The 88-second teaser released by Lucasfilm caused people of planet earth to throw a hissy fit. Fans complained about the casting of a black stormtrooper, played by John Boyega, because stormtroopers are clones of a “white dude”. Moreover, nobody knows if he is a stormtrooper and not someone passing off as one.
Many did not like what J J Abrams, director of the seventh installment, did to the light saber either. True, it looks more like a glow in the dark replica of a sword from Game of Thrones, but we haven’t got to see a Jedi duel yet. And we can only hazard a guess what the head of R2D2 was doing on a what looked like a space metallic football. Also, it did deviate from the tradition of giving the movie title an episode. Ideally, fans would have loved to call it Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens.
The teaser was too long to be even called a teaser. A good chunk of it was stormtroopers-fade to black-Millenium Falcon-fade to black. But there is no denying that it has set our redundant tailbones waging when the voice-over given by Andy Serkis of Lord of the Rings fame goes: “There has been an awakening. Have you felt it? The dark side … and the light.”
We at The Indian Express hope that the trailer will have more to show than a bunch of X-fighters, Tie-fighters pew-pewing across the cosmos.
