Fans are excited to see two of their favourite Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman together in the upcoming Marvel Studios film Deadpool 3. Besides being co-actors and colleagues, the actors share a deep friendship and are often seen pulling each other's legs on talk shows and interviews. In a recent chat with ET Canada, Ryan was asked about his fitness regime and how is he keeping up with Jackman, who is known for being a health nut. Reynolds said that he has been trying hard to keep up, stating, "I am trying, Hugh Jackman is a beast. He is clearly obsessed with his own body. So keeping up with someone who is that diligent is gonna be challenging, but yeah it has been fun." Jackman even responded to the interview clip on Twitter and wrote, "More like petrified. Have you seen you?" When asked how did Ryan convince Jackman to come back as Wolverine for one more time, after its decidedly final conclusion in Logan, the actor shared, "He and I are both really excited. We’ve wanted to do this for a decade. So, to have this opportunity now is, I think actually weirdly, the perfect time. I was just pestering him like a gnat over the last many years. I actually just think… I believe in timing … and I think he was ready.” Ryan added that Jackman also gave his nod to the project as this will give him something new to play with in terms of the iconic character: "I think he was excited and what we pitched him was enough of a divergence from the character that he knows and the character that he’s left behind, that it gives him something completely new to play and something that he’s really excited to do." Apart from Jackman and Reynolds, Deadpool 3 also stars Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen in pivotal roles. It releases in November next year.
