Kane was intimidated by Undertaker’s entrance at Wrestlemania 14, Undertaker reveals his strength in the ring that ‘drove Yokozuna mad’
The Undertaker and Kane react to their legendary match at Wrestlemania 14. This was the first match between the 'Brothers of Destruction'.

In the world of professional wrestling, there is hardly any duo which comes close to being as terrifying and impactful as the ‘Brothers of Destruction’. The Undertaker and Kane have both had storied careers, and the on-screen brothers gave WWE one of its most influential storylines. The duo recently reunited and watched their match from Wrestlemania 14 together. It was the first time the pair had officially been booked for a match, and after dancing around each other for more than six months, they finally faced each other in the biggest event of the calendar.
Kane shared how he was nervous as he walked in front of the crowd at FleetCenter in Boston. “Paul (his manager and on-screen father) kept his hands on my chest and asked why my heart was going so fast. I was nervous about the adrenaline, and they had Pete Rose (guest ring announcer) there.” The ‘Big Red Machine’ called his brother Undertaker’s entrance scary and intimidating. “I mean, this is the Undertaker, and I know you, but it’s still intimidating. When you’re in the ring and you are looking at that and the entire production, the music, the flames, it was ‘dad-gum’ intimidating. I mean, imagine you’re in the ring looking at this, and this is your first big match,” added the wrestler.
The Undertaker admitted that his entrance at WrestleMania 14 was one of the better ones and that his outfit made him look like Count Dracula, but he had a different concern on his mind. “The entrance is good, but we were using extras, and they are holding the torches. All I could think was that I hope someone doesn’t burn me,” said the dead man as both Undertaker and Kane burst out in laughter.
While watching the match, Undertaker recalled that he used to move around the ring a little too much, and that would make things difficult for his opponents when they wanted to execute a move. “I never helped anybody because I always move; I have to get out of the way. Yokozuna would get so mad at me; he would hit me in the corner, and I would sell the move somewhere else and make him chase me around.”
Who won Wrestlemania 14
The Undertaker went on to win the match, and his victory ended up being just the first chapter in the story of the Brothers of Destruction. Both of them faced formidable opponents throughout their careers, but both would somehow find their way back to each other, either as enemies or allies.
Brothers of Destruction
The narrative surrounding Kane and Undertaker was confusing and twisted to say the least. Undertaker was managed by Paul Bearer, who was playing Kane’s father and according to the backstory provided, Undertaker’s mother had an affair with Bearer and she birthed Kane. Bearer brought Kane in to defeat his half-brother and assert his dominance. Their relationship would sway throughout their career but whenever they rode together, they came to be known as ‘The Brothers of Destruction’.
WWE’s next pay-per-view, WrestleMania 41 is going to be held in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20.
