Deadpool and Wolverine box office collection day 8: Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's mutant mash-up will cross the Rs 100 cr mark in India this weekend.

Deadpool and Wolverine box office collection day 8: After a week in cinemas Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and Woverine is still going strong. According to industry tracking website Sacnilk, the Marvel film, on its eighth day in cinemas, earned Rs 4.25 crore which more than the cumulative box office earnings of new Hindi releases, Janhvi Kapoor’s Ulajh and Tabu and Ajay Devgn’s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.
Deadpool and Wolverine, in its first week earned a total of Rs 89.9 crore in India (Rs 46.4 crore in English ; Rs 35.1 crore in Hindi; Rs 3.5 in Telugu and Rs 4.9 crore in Tamil). The film, in its second week is expected to perform even better and is set to comfortably cross the Rs 100 crore mark over the weekend. The film’s nett total in India stands at Rs 94.15 crore. According to Deadline, Shawn Levy-directed film has made over USD 630 million globally.
On Friday, the film observed an an overall 17.92 percent English occupancy with most people catching the last show. In Mumbai, where there are 236 shows running, the occupancy stood at 18.25 percent. In Delhi and NCR, with 266 shows, the occupancy observed was 12.75 percent.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire was the best performing Hollywood film in India in 2024 but the MCU film is all set to take over that spot. The film made Rs 112.5 crore in India during its theatrical run.
Deadpool and Wolverine features Reynolds and Jackman reprising their most popular roles, and introducing the Marvel Cinematic Universe to characters from the X-Men film franchise.
