Daniel Bruhl to play villain ‘Captain America: Civil War’

His villainous character is rumoured to have a smaller role in the upcoming third “Captain America” movie before later returning to take the role of a primary antagonist in a “Doctor Strange” stand-alone movie starring Benedict Cumberbatch.

“Civil War” will hit theatres on May 6, 2016. Anthony and Joe Russo return as directors, Chris Evans as the titular hero, Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Frank Grillo as Crossbones, and Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther. They will also be joined by a new Spider-Man.
