Ana smiled and replied: “We’re definitely working on a lot of things. Not just one but a few projects with Doug Liman and Christopher McQuarrie and, of course, Tom. And I’m so excited.” Without digging deeper, she shifted her focus back to Ballerina.

Ana and Tom’s romance rumour first sparked in February during Valentine’s week when they were seen dining together in London’s Soho. At the time, an insider alleged that the actors were present with their agents discussing the film. McQuarrie has been a longtime collaborator of Cruise, who has worked with him for multiple Mission Impossible movies, while Liman worked as the director for the actor’s 2014 film Edge of Tomorrow and the 2017 released American Made. The trio were rumoured to be working on a new project with the Blonde star. However, soon after, their outing turned into multiple sightings, from walking in the park on her birthday to arriving in helicopters together, and fans suspected there was more than just business. Most recently, they were seen leaving David Beckham’s 50th birthday party in the same car on May 3.

Recently, an insider made some stunning revelations about their relationship, confirming that the duo are indeed romantically involved and Cruise was the first to be ‘smitten’ by her after meeting through mutual friends, including Penélope Cruz. The duo had known each other for years, but according to the source, it was only recently that the Top Gun star started liking Ana, and the feeling was well reciprocated. However, the insider added that the Gray Man star is being ‘cautious’ and she isn’t trying to rush into anything. After her past high-profile relationship with Ben Affleck, she’s made it clear she doesn’t enjoy too much media attention on her private life. “That’s one of the things Tom likes about her — how private she is,” they added. Apparently, Penélope vouched for Ana, both professionally and personally. That’s how the doors opened. For the unversed, before Tom, Ana was linked to Manuel Anido Cuesta, who is reportedly the stepson of Cuba’s president. They were seen kissing in Madrid last year, but she never talked publicly about it.
