Vidharbha MLA objects to anti-India scenes in Lamhaa

An MLA from Achalpur in Vidarbha objected to certain scenes in Lamhaa, calling them "anti-India".

Independent MLA from Achalpur in Vidarbha Bacchu Kadu today demanded that certain scenes in recently released Sanjay Dutt-Bipasha Basu starrer “Lamhaa” be deleted.

Kadu told the Legislative Assembely that he watched the film and said he was shocked to see scenes where “anti-India” slogans were shouted.

“There is also a scene where the national emblem is burnt,” he said.

The MLA urged the Speaker Dilip Walse-Patil to direct the government to ask for these scenes to be done away with.
