Unveiled: First look of Dhanush,Sonam Kapoor’s Ranjhnaa

The movie,directed by Anand L Rai,will release on June 28.

The first look of southern actor Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor’s romantic film Raanjhnaa was released by the lead actor on Holi.

Dhanush,who is making his Bollywood debut with Ranjhnaa,tweeted: “The official first look of raanjhana. A beautiful journey I took against all odds.happy holi.”

Dhanush,who became a household name after his song Kolaveri Di,took special Hindi classes to improve diction for his debut movie.

He further wrote: “Guys this was just a teaser picture and holi greeting from team raanjhana! The official look and theatrical will arrive soon! Watch this space!”

Besides Dhanush and Sonam,the movie also stars Abhay Deol,Swara Bhaskar,Deepak Dobriyal and Mohammed Zeeshan.

The movie has been shot extensively in Varanasi and New Delhi. Ranjhnaa has music by Oscar winning music maestro A R Rahman.

The movie,directed by Anand L Rai of Tanu Weds Manu fame,is in it post-production stage and will release on June 28.
