Shahid Kapoor out of Yash Raj film

With three back to back projects in hand,Shahid was not able to readjust his dates.

Actor Shahid Kapoor,who was to star in upcoming Yash Raj Films (YRF) to be directed by Maneesh Sharma,has pulled out of the project due to his packed schedule.

With three back to back projects in hand,Shahid was not able to readjust his dates to accommodate the revised schedule.

The film was to go on floors in September but now has been delayed.

“Both Jaideep and I have decided to bring in a couple of lip-sync songs which will need to be recorded before we can go on floor. However,it is sad that Shahid has understandably had to opt out because of this delay given his packed schedule going forward,” said Maneesh,who shot to fame with his debut film “Band Baaja Baaraat”.

Meanwhile,YRF is said to be in talks with Shahid for another project for next year.
